How the Reward Program Works
To be eligible for rewards, make sure your name and email address are included on the membership applications of everyone you refer. The rewards start rolling in with the very first person you bring in.
Referral Rewards
Prize based on number of members referred:
- 1 member = Commemorative Lapel Pin
- 2 members = Dry Bag
- 3 to 5 members * = $25 Gift Card
- 6 or more members * = $50 Gift Card
* Members must be recruited within a calendar quarter. Student and retiree members do not count towards quarterly prizes.
** Winners are responsible for any applicable income tax declarations on Grand Prize earnings.
2024 Grand Prize
For each member you refer, you’ll receive an entry into our 2024 Grand Prize Drawing. The more members you refer, the greater your chances of winning!

Membership Recruitment Awards
The following awards were created to inspire recruiters and recognize their outstanding achievements. These individuals are recognized at ACE each year.
Zenno A. Gorder Award
Named for a long-time AWWA supporter, contributor and membership advocate, this prestigious award recognizes both the individual member and the Section staff member who recruit the most members each year. The award is presented annually during the Opening General Session at ACE.

Diamond Pin Award
This award recognizes cumulative recruitment efforts over time. To qualify, a member must earn 25 points within a two-year timeframe. An additional Diamond Pin is awarded at each consecutive 25-point interval thereafter (up to 500 points, at which point the recruiter earns the Ambassador Award). Winners are recognized annually during the Volunteer Celebration at ACE.

This award recognizes the outstanding achievement of 500 or more membership recruitment points. Winners are recognized annually during the Volunteer Celebration at ACE.

Presidential Awards
These successive awards recognize extraordinary accomplishments in membership recruiting. Presidential Awards have Silver, Gold and Platinum achievement levels based on accrued recruitment points. Winners are recognized annually during the Volunteer Celebration at ACE.

Nicholas S. Hill Jr. Award
Named for an AWWA past president and early innovator in water chlorination, this award recognizes the Section that achieves the greatest net growth in the award year.
