Tuesday, September 24th | 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tour T1 is now sold out. Hoover Dam tour attendees are to meet outside on the Valet Drive starting at 7:15 a.m. The bus departs the hotel at 7:30 a.m. and will arrive back at the hotel approx. 12:00 p.m. Additionally, note that the bus will leave the park at 11:00 a.m. for your convenience.
T2 — Clark County Wetlands 2-Hour Park Tour is limited to 40 attendees
Tuesday, September 24th | 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The Clark County Wetlands Park (Wetlands Park) is a 2,900-acre nature preserve built around the Las Vegas Wash (a channel connecting the Las Vegas Valley to Lake Mead) is fed by reclaimed water, urban runoff, shallow groundwater and stormwater. A critical part of the region’s water conservation efforts, this park is a monument to long-term collaboration between government, business, and the public.
Wetlands tour attendees are to meet outside on the Valet Drive starting at 8:00 a.m. The bus will depart the hotel promptly at 8:15 a.m., returning around 12:00 p.m. Additionally, note that the bus will leave the park at 11:30 a.m. for your convenience.

Students and young professionals are welcome to attend this conference event to network with the industry’s leading professionals. This is your chance to learn what day-to-day is really like in the roles you aspire to fill. Perhaps you will find a career path you have not considered, find new skillsets to achieve, or find a mentor. Bring your business cards and resumes, this is an informal meet and greet during lunch. Student Poster Competition | Wednesday | Exhibit Hall | 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Want to see what students around the country are discovering in water? Join us for this student poster competition to learn what research, processes, and techniques are emerging from the brightest of students! This is a great time to watch their presentations and ask your questions that may help you in your research challenges.
WaterSense Awards Luncheon | Thursday | Grand Ballroom | 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
WaterSense partners contribute to the program’s success by enhancing the market for water-efficient products, practices, and services. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will announce this year’s Sustained Excellence Award winners, WaterSense Partners of the Year, and Excellence Award winners for helping to advance and promote WaterSense and water efficiency throughout 2024.

Certificates of Completion
AWWA will provide Certificates of Completion for sessions and workshops. Use the conference mobile app to track your session attendance by downloading “AWWA Events” from your app store, then entering posted check-in and check-out codes at the beginning and conclusion of each session.
