Mission-Based Work
We are a nonprofit association whose work supports our vision of “A Better World Through Better Water.” Since 1881, AWWA has protected public health by providing technical content through our standards and manuals of practice. This content is used by water professionals around the world, so that we have safe and clean water. If you want to serve a noble cause and work with dedicated employees, join our team.
Flexibility
We recognize that you need flexibility so that you can better manage your professional and personal commitments. We offer both a hybrid (combination of in-office/remote) and a 9/80 work schedule. Flexible starting and stopping times are also part of the package. When you join AWWA, we give you $250 towards the cost of at-home computer equipment.
Workplace
Our Denver office is located next to Marston Reservoir with a view of the Rocky Mountains along with a variety of amenities — free parking, secure access, standing desks, Air Handlers – Ionization System, and touchless fixtures.
Our Government Affairs office is located in the heart of Washington, DC — minutes away from Capitol Hill and the White House.
We offer a collaborative working environment with the opportunity to work with a variety of cross-functional teams to accomplish our work.
Community
We believe in giving back to the community and we show that by giving employees time off to volunteer. We give back to the community-at-large with an easily accessible educational website about water with our consumer site DrinkTap.org.
