Individual Membership Pricing:

  • Student Membership – $20
  • Young Professional Membership (<35 years old) – $99 + Section Dues
  • Operator/Administrator Membership – $81 + Section Dues
  • Individual Membership – $248 + Section Dues
  • International Membership – $70 to $248 + Section Dues

Organizational Membership Pricing:

  • Utility Membership – $2,380 to $26,630 + Section Dues
  • Small System Membership (<5k services connections) – $385 + Section Dues
  • Service Provider Membership – $1,710 to $10,000 + Section Dues
  • Partner Agency Membership – $1,850 + Section Dues

Here are some common questions we receive about our membership options. If you have a question that is not addressed, please reach out to service@awwa.org for assistance.

How Will I Be Billed for My Membership?

All memberships are billed annually with renewal each year. You will receive a reminder to renew your membership a few weeks before it expires.

Can My Employer Reimburse My Membership Fees?

It is at your employers discretion to reimburse you. Show them the benefits of an AWWA membership on our benefits page.

Are Group Discounts Available for Membership?

Yes, organizational memberships are available for utilities, small systems, service providers, and partner agencies. If your organization falls under one of these categories, please contact us for more information.

If you’re unsure whether your employer is an AWWA member, you can check by emailing membership service through the link below. If they are a member, please follow up with your employer about the benefits you have through their membership and reimbursement for your membership fees.
