How To Use Sourcebook Online
The American Water Works Association Sourcebook Online is a tool used to search for products and services within your industry. Several search tools are available online in the Sourcebook to help you find exactly what you need.
Keyword Search
Enter any word or phrase into the “Search Listing” field to find all listings containing that word or phrase. For example, a query of “accounting services” will present all listings that offer accounting services and other financial assistance and will pull companies from categories that include that keyword. You can also search by company, location, contact name and category.
Auto Suggest Functionality
When typing in a search term, the auto-suggest feature will begin populating searchable items across listings on the site according to the above search parameters for easy selection.
Category Search
You can also search for any basic and premier listing by utilizing the list of product/service categories on the Service Provider Directory. By clicking on a particular category, you will be navigated to a results page showing all listings associated with that category.

Manufacturers/Associates Council (MAC)
In conjunction with our members, the Manufacturers/Associates Council (MAC) contributes every year in building the AWWA Sourcebook. Their combined areas of expertise cover supply, treatment, distribution, and administration processes needed to provide customers with safe and reliable water.
The MAC is one of six AWWA Councils and represents AWWA’s Service Provider community. Service Providers are broadly considered those who provide products or services to the water industry, which include manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives, distributors, consulting engineers, and contractors. The MAC is made up of 20 service provider members with dedicated spots for a Young Professionals Committee member, the Director-at-Large – Service Provider (AWWA Board position), and a representative from the Water and Sewer Distributors of America (WASDA). Members serve three-year terms with the option to re-up for a second consecutive term.
