Cancellation Policy: AWWA must receive cancellations in writing. Phone cancellations are not accepted. All cancellations dated by early-bird deadline will receive a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee. After deadline, cancellations will not be refunded; however, substitute registrants are welcome. Email requests for substitutions or cancellations to service@awwa.org.

WQTC Facility Tour offers an additional opportunity for in-depth, hands-on learning. Registration and fee is required, these items are not included in the Full Conference registration.


2022 Facility Tour  SOLD OUT
T1 - Richard Miller Treatment Plant/Triple Steam Pumps Tour 
Thursday, November 17th 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

A tour of the Greater Cincinnati Water Works will include a history of the utility and 200 years of progress in both water distribution and treatment. The tour will take place in a 100-year-old pump station at the Richard Miller Treatment Plant containing four large triple-expansion steam engines and will include a visit to the pump floor where you will stand six feet beneath the floor of the Ohio River.

The Call for Abstracts is now open. Call for Abstracts will be open until 4:00 p.m. (MDT) on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Any submissions provided after the call closes will not be accepted.

As part of your event registration, personal contact data such as name, address, and email were collected and may be used by AWWA Show Management and approved third parties affiliated with ACE. See AWWA privacy policy (awwa.org/privacy) for additional information. As a reminder, by allowing your badge to be scanned by exhibitors for lead retrieval, you are providing your full contact information (address, email, phone, etc.) to the exhibitors.

SOCIAL MEDIA, CAMERA, & CELL PHONES
AWWA encourages the use of social media during our conferences and events. Filming or live streaming of any presentation, session or exhibit hall booth is prohibited without the permission of the presenter or exhibitor. Additionally, if you are unsure about whether it’s appropriate to post a picture or quote, please speak with the presenter or exhibitor to request their permission prior to posting. Violation may result in confiscation of the media and removal from the event. This policy is intended to protect the intellectual property and hard work of both our presenters and exhibitors. AWWA’s conference proceedings will contain all presentations and additional materials provided by the presenters who wish to have their information published. Attendees are asked to be respectful of their colleagues by turning off or silencing all mobile devices before entering meeting rooms.
