AWWA opens registration for ACE25 in Denver
The American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced that registration is open for its 2025 Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE25), which will be held June 8-11, 2025, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. The conference will convene water professionals from around the world to address challenges facing the water sector and explore solutions for the future of water.
“We are thrilled to welcome the water community to Denver, AWWA’s headquarter city, for ACE25,” said AWWA CEO David LaFrance. “For more than 140 years, our annual conference has been the cornerstone of knowledge sharing and collaboration for water professionals, and this year promises to be no exception as we work together to elevate the future of water.”
Centered around the theme “Elevate,” ACE25 will challenge attendees to raise the bar in every facet of water management. The conference will explore how water professionals can elevate drinking water quality, excellence on the job, and their positive impact on the communities they serve.
ACE25 will feature:
- Technical sessions and workshops: Sessions will cover a wide range of topics including water quality, treatment, distribution, management, sustainability and more. Water sector experts will lead workshops on the latest technologies and best practices.
- Interactive exhibits: Attendees can explore the latest products and services from leading water technology providers in the exposition, which will feature more than 350 exhibitors on a show floor with more than 1,000 booths.
- Professional development and networking: ACE25 offers opportunities for attendees to earn continuing education units (CEUs), network with the greater water community, and build professional relationships.
In line with AWWA’s commitment to environmental stewardship, ACE25 will implement a comprehensive sustainability plan to minimize its environmental impact. Key initiatives include digitalizing conference materials, sourcing food and beverages locally, promoting the use of reusable water bottles, encouraging use of permanent fill-and-go stations, partnering with local organizations for material donations and composting, and offsetting carbon emissions from the event.
“AWWA’s ACE sustainability initiative reflects our dedication to the future of water,” LaFrance said. “This effort is consistent with our organization’s long-term vision for a sustainable water future, as embodied in the Water 2050 initiative.”
Attendees can take advantage of early bird registration rates until April, 18, 2025. To register and learn more about ACE25, visit ace.awwa.org. To learn more about the ACE sustainability initiative visit https://ace.awwa.org/Attend/Sustainability-Impact.
