How are you feeling about the water industry? Tell us!

The State of the Water Industry survey is open. As a valuable member of AWWA, you should have received an invitation to participate via email (from AWWA Research or research@awwa.org). If not, email us and we will send it to you.

The survey asks water industry professionals about their key challenges and emerging concerns to gain an understanding of the sector and which issues are critical or rising in importance. The survey takes between 10 minutes to 20 minutes, and it is open to anyone who works in the water profession regardless of AWWA membership. Everyone who completes the survey receives a 10% discount in the AWWA Store. Additionally, participants can enter a drawing for one of 10 $50 Amazon gift codes (which can also be donated to Water Equation to support scholarships).

This is an annual survey that AWWA conducts to gather and record critical trend information in the water sector. After collecting results, AWWA analyzes the data and compiles the State of the Water Industry report, which it has been publishing for over 20 years.

Last year’s report found capital improvement financing, infrastructure improvements and long-term supply to be among the top concerns for industry leaders.

This year’s survey closes Oct. 31.
