AWWA Journal & Magazines
AWWA has three periodicals: Journal AWWA, Opflow, and AWWA Water Science. Submissions for all three are open to everyone in the water community. Each publication has its own specific audience and criteria for submissions.
- Journal AWWA is AWWA’s flagship publication, providing informational and technical articles on innovations, trends, opportunities, and challenges. This magazine’s audience is mainly executives, engineers, managers, researchers, communications professionals, professors, and operators. Journal AWWA is available in print and online.
- Opflow is AWWA’s trade publication aimed at water operators, featuring how-to articles and case studies on water treatment and distribution. Opflow is available in print and online.
- AWWA Water Science is AWWA’s scholarly publication, exclusively focusing on peer-reviewed content that advances understanding of topics in the water industry. This journal’s audience is academics, researchers, scientists, engineers, and those interested in staying current on the latest advancements in potable water research. AWWA Water Science is an online-only publication.
