You receive a full library of AWWA Standards and a subscription to newly published updates as benefit of your membership through envoi – your source for water knowledge. envoi is a comprehensive library for online technical content, including standards, technical reports, conference proceedings, and historical standards. Manuals of practice are available to add to your organization’s envoi access. All AWWA members within your organization receive access to envoi as well.

  • Manuals of Practice: AWWA Manuals are consensus documents providing strategies and steps for water system optimization.
  • Technical Reports and Tools: Access a variety of recent reports and tools available to help you perform your job better.
  • Journals & Magazines: For more than 100 years, AWWA has published on the science and technology of water. Journal AWWA, Opflow, and AWWA Water Science provide timely information and research for water professionals.

Get Involved

Having your staff get involved in AWWA is an excellent professional development opportunity for them,  is a way to elevate your organization’s standing within the water community.

  • Publish an Article: Share your ideas with other water professionals by contributing to one of our award-winning journals and magazines.
  • Speak at a Conference: Share your expertise and make your mark as a thought leader by presenting at one of AWWA’s specialty conferences or go for gold and present at ACE!
  • Compete for an Award: Explore our extensive list of awards and get recognition for all the hard work you do for your community; including our 5 Under 35 Award.

Refer a Member

Now that you are an AWWA member, share your membership experience with friends and colleagues. Get rewarded for each person who joins. More members mean more connections and resources for you!

The rewards start rolling in with the very first person you bring in. To be eligible for rewards, tell those you refer to include your name and email address on their membership application.

Rewards:

  • 1 member: Commemorative Lapel Pin
  • 2 members: AWWA Dry Bag
  • 3 – 5 members*: $25 Gift Card
  • 6 or more members*: $50 Gift Card

Grand Prize **

For each member you refer, you’ll receive an entry into our 2024 Grand Prize Drawing. The more members you refer, the greater your chances of winning complimentary registration and hotel accommodations for ACE or a check for $1,000 to spend as you wish!

*Members must be recruited within a calendar quarter. Student and retiree members do not count towards quarterly prizes.

**Winners are responsible for any applicable income tax declaration on Grand Prize earnings.
