The call for webinar plans for AWWA’s 2027 Webinar Program closed September 10, 2026. To find more open calls for abstracts, you can check here to see other submission opportunities with AWWA and their respective deadlines.

  • Accept and decline notifications for the 2027 Webinar Program will be sent starting in November 2026.
  • AWWA program webinars are 90 minutes long with approximately 70 minutes of speaker presentations, allowing time for Q&A at the end.
  • All webinars must be educational in nature. Promotional webinars will be redirected.
  • Incomplete submissions will not be evaluated.

AWWA’s Annual Webinar Program is designed to empower, educate, and inspire. Our webinars bring together water sector experts, thought leaders, and professionals from around the world to share their insights and expertise.

AWWA offers two types of opportunities for webinar submissions:

  • AWWA Program Webinars – The 2027 webinar program is no longer accepting proposals. Submissions made after September 10, 2026, are not reviewed.
  • Exclusive Sponsored Webinars – AWWA will produce and market your company’s webinar, for a fee. To learn more about Exclusive Sponsored Webinars, email sales@awwa.org.

Learning Objectives

What will the audience take away from this webinar and why is it important? Give 3-5 examples of any skills, tools, or solutions the webinar will provide.

Knowing and understanding the information presented is important, but these are only the most basic types of objectives. Use action verbs to describe the new knowledge or skills that will be transferred to the learner.

Examples: apply, analyze, create, evaluate, identify, solve…

Expert Panel

Your webinar will need a Moderator to facilitate speaker introductions and Q&A. The moderator will also facilitate webinar prep alongside AWWA Producer.

There should be 2-3 additional presenters from different backgrounds, offering varying perspectives. Average presentation time is 15-20 minutes each.
