AWWA convenes water community for 143rd annual conference

Registration is now open for the American Water Works Association’s 2026 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE26), which will be held June 21-24, 2026, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The conference will bring together thousands of water professionals from water utilities, government, consulting firms, academia and manufacturers from around the globe to explore the latest strategies, technologies and solutions around the drinking water sector’s most pressing challenges.

Under the theme “Water Heroes,” ACE26 places the spotlight on the people behind water systems and the work required to keep water safe and sustainable.

“Water professionals are relentless innovators, protectors of public health, and guardians of our most vital natural resource,” said AWWA CEO David LaFrance. “They do heroic work every day to maintain and manage our vast water systems, keep drinking water safe and healthy, and care for our environment. ACE26 is where water leaders of every age come together to share knowledge, learn from peers, and advance solutions that will serve generations to come.”

ACE26 will feature more than 200 educational sessions, a 450-booth exposition showcasing the latest products, technology, and services, networking opportunities and competitions designed to support learning and collaboration across the water community.

Educational programming will address issues facing water utilities of all sizes, including topics like workforce development, infrastructure renewal, public trust, water quality, resilience and innovation. The full program will be available in February.

Early registrants can take advantage of supersaver pricing, available through April 24. Attendees can choose from a range of registration options, including full-conference access, field operator rates, small utility pricing and student rates.
