An interactive discussion on how water utilities are successfully leveraging various innovative practices and technology to address today’s challenges in the water sector – be it drinking water, wastewater or water reuse – and the results they are realizing. The growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) in water utility operations, and emerging engineering innovations to address such increasing demands on utilities as data centers will also be discussed.

An interactive discussion on the decision-making processes utilities use in employing innovative practices and new technology, what technologies to acquire for what purpose and when, workforce implications, legal risks and protections, how to pay for new technology, and communicating changes in the use of technology and innovative practices to ratepayers and other stakeholders.

Roundtable Registration Cancellation Policy: AWWA must receive cancellations in writing. Phone cancellations are not accepted. All cancellations dated more than four weeks prior to Roundtable’s first day will receive a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee. Within four weeks of the event’s start date: cancellations will not be refunded; however, substitute registrants are welcome.
