More than seven in 10 Americans (72%) served by a water utility say they are satisfied with their tap water, according to a recent survey conducted by Morning Consult on AWWA's behalf. The survey about public perceptions of tap water, conducted in May 2024, follows a similar survey conducted in 2023.

AWWA members are recognized globally for their industry expertise and their generosity in sharing that expertise for a better world through better water.
