Work to Begin on 4 New Wastewater Standards

The AWWA Standards Council has authorized work to begin on 4 new standards:

1. AWWA F1AA, Cloth Media Filters
2. AWWA F1BB, Mechanical Screens and Screenings Handling
3. AWWA F1CC, Grit Removal and Handling
4. AWWA G5XX, Wastewater System Comprehensive Planning Practices

New Standards Committees are being formed to develop standards F1AA, F1BB, and F1CC.  Please contact Jason Hrdlicka (jhrdlicka@awwa.org) if you would like to participate on the new committees or if you have any questions about the work on these three new standards.

New standard G5XX has been assigned to the existing Standards Committee on Wastewater Treatment Plant O&M group.  Please contact Amanda Dail (adail@awwa.org) if you would like to participate of if you have any questions about G5XX.
