We’re seeking a team player who’s resourceful and diplomatic to provide exceptional service to our exhibitors, members and volunteers with a goal of offering the most comprehensive exhibit hall experience to our event attendees.

Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with other meetings & events professionals on AWWA’s largest event - Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE) and selected smaller meetings.  Up to 10% business travel and work schedule includes evenings and/or weekend as required.

Job Summary
ACE  duties include but not limited to:
• Coordinate, manage, and oversee exhibitor badge registration
• Collect and coordinate exhibitor information needed for print/electronic on-site program, mobile application, etc.
• Coordinate staff shipping requirements

Assigned Specialty Conferences duties include but not limited to:
• Develop and execute exhibitor communications, updates, reminders, etc.
• Responsible for print/electronic on-site program management; exhibitor information collection, mobile application, etc.
• Data entry for sponsor and exhibitor applications and fulfillment
• Coordinate event logistics: shipping and security, space assignment, moves and cancellations, booth staff registration, etc.

Associate’s degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and work experience with minimum of two (2) years experience in customer service position required; one (1) year of event planning, and/or trade show experience preferred
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; database proficiency strongly preferred
Working knowledge of event planning software systems/programs preferred

Targeted pay range is $19.50 - $19.80 and is paired with comprehensive benefits package that includes:
• Immediate eligibility and vesting for retirement savings plan with a 6% employer contribution and 3% company match upon hire
• Generous time off including three separate accounts (Vacation, Sick, and Personal)
