Carnival Season

Although some people say Carnival and Mardi Gras interchangeably, they are actually very different things. Carnival Season begins in January is a time to celebrate culture and family. Carnival is filled with parades, balls and other celebrations leading up to Mardi Gras, which is French for “Fat Tuesday.”

The 2019 MTC falls during Carnival season but wraps up well before the crowds arrive for Mardi Gras. Join us to experience this one-of-a-kind American experience!
