U.N. Sustainable Development Goals

To guide global collaboration on sustainability the United Nations defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The SDGs represent the world's best plan to build a better world for people and our planet by 2030. Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the SDGs are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the environment.

AWWA’s work directly supports these SDGs:
#6: Clean Water and Sanitation
#5: Gender Equality
#10:  Reduced Inequalities

Visit the AWWA Pavilion in the ACE Exhibit Hall to learn more about how AWWA is working to build a better future for everyone.
