Water Equation Scholarships

Water Equation Scholarship Program

American Water Works Association is developing the world’s largest scholarship program for the world’s largest water association. Currently offering over $160,000 in academic scholarships and achievement awards, corporate sponsors trust the AWWA Engineering Technical Services Department to manage and collect applications from the best and the brightest students in North America, to guide the judging and ranking through a qualified scholarship committee, and to make the awards to the best candidates. The scholarships are mutually beneficial to the corporate sponsors and recipients, as they create a mentoring partnership which can result in an employment opportunity for the awardee.

AWWA’s annual conference and exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for Water Equation to host a reception for donors, sponsors, past and present scholarship recipients. The scholarships are awarded at the annual Water Industry Luncheon, which allows recognition for sponsors and recipients. It’s a wonderful time for a photo opportunity to capture this exciting moment.
