1881 Society Members

1881 Society

In recognition of a life time of giving, members of the 1881 Society are philanthropic leaders who recognize the importance of training and educating our current workforce while advancing future generations of water professionals. They also recognize the importance of safe and clean water delivery for all communities.

Through the 1881 Society, AWWA is pleased to recognize cumulative gifts of $1,000 and above. The 1881 Society is named after the year AWWA was established by 22 visionaries seeing the need to collaborate and to build a vital Association.

Your gift will recognize the importance of properly maintaining and advancing future generations of water professionals and systems. Gifts of cash, stock, and securities, and documented estate gifts will be used to advance innovation, technology, global growth and support future leaders. Together, we will ensure success beyond what was envisioned many years ago.

1881 Society Members Receive:

  • Invitations to special AWWA donor events
  • Special 1881 Society donor lapel pin
  • Recognition in special donor listings on website and select print materials
  • Opportunity for donor spotlight
  • Recognition on donor wall at AWWA Headquarters
  • Recognition during ACE event

These AWWA members contributed $1000 or more during the 2020 Fiscal Year
