Course Description: Water treatment plants in North America are of the highest quality; however, that water quality often deteriorates as the water is distributed to customers. Optimizing all aspects of storage and delivery can preserve the water quality and improve customer satisfaction. These solutions will equip you to reduce the chance of contamination, therefore improving public health protection.

- Apply specific strategies to reduce water age in distribution systems.
- Describe practical sanitary procedures that can be used to avoid contamination during emergency pipeline repairs.
