Course Descrption: Because cyanotoxins can adversely affect humans, they present an increasing cause for concern. This course explores the contamination of both drinking water and recreational water supplies by excessive cyanobacteria growth and toxin production.
- List the effects of cyanobacteria on water quality, human health, and operational costs.
- Explain monitoring and testing methods.
- Describe prevention and control methods to protect public health.
