Course Description: This course provides an introduction to water distribution system operations by detailing the types of piping, valves, and fire hydrants commonly used in water systems. It is suitable for entry-level operators.
- Determine the most appropriate pipe material for a variety of water distribution systems.
- Select the most appropriate valves for use in various water distribution systems.
- Identify and apply the proper procedures for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire hydrants.
