Purpose of the Award: To recognize individuals, groups, or organizations who may be members or nonmembers of AWWA and have made significant contributions to the water supply profession.
The Award: A suitable form of recognition is to be provided.
Frequency: As deemed appropriate.
Entry Requirements: A narrative of no more than one page, biographical information and letters of endorsement must be submitted by an AWWA member to AWWA’s Chief Executive Officer at least 60 days prior to the presentation of the award. The narrative shall include highlights of significant contributions and the impact to the water industry.
Awards Committee: The committee shall consist of the last five (5) Past Presidents with the most recent Past President serving as chair. An Association staff member shall serve as advisor to the committee.
Presentation: As determined by AWWA, recognition may be given at any appropriate event or gathering or may be sent to the recipient with a letter from the President of the Association.
