With the anticipated release this fall of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) final Lead & Copper Rule, this virtual roundtable dialogue, which is being co-hosted with Vinson & Elkins LLP, will focus on key legal and operational issues of the Rule as currently proposed, and their impact on water utility and the water sector operations. Legal and water utility management experts from the private sector, municipal water sector, and investor owned utility sector will share their insights and expertise on key aspects of the Rule, covering such key issues as: reporting requirements; service line replacement; operational challenges; liability issues; and enforcement and compliance related issues. If issued (as expected) by EPA prior to the date of this program, roundtable dialogue experts will also discuss any new or updated requirements contained in the final Rule.
