Water Loss


The North American Water Loss Conference & Exposition will take place December 3-5, 2019, in Nashville, TN and will offer attendees more than 100 expert speakers covering approaches to reduce non-revenue water, regulatory developments as well as a platform to share processes, methods and techniques from your peers. The conference will also feature an Exhibit Hall with 50+ leading technology and service providers −all dedicated to providing solutions for you and your organization.


This conference will take place over two days and focus on topics such as on developing water loss policies, auditing your system, reducing apparent losses, controlling leakage, managing pressures and documenting your progress, both for you and for your regulators.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing and faxed or mailed to AWWA. Phone cancellations are not accepted. All cancellations postmarked/fax-dated by early deadline will receive a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee. Cancellations post-deadline will not be refunded; however, substitute registrants are welcome, if pre-approved in writing.

International attendees: Do you need a letter of invitation from AWWA? Submit the request formRequests will be honored for attendees and presenters with the intent to register.

Photo and Information Release: By registering for this event, you agree to allow AWWA to use your photo in any AWWA-related publication or website. 2019 Call for papers is now open! 

AWWA is accepting abstracts for the third biennial North American Water Loss Conference & Exposition, to be held December 3-5, 2019, in Nashville, TN. Presenters are encouraged to submit abstracts for oral presentations, panel discussions, quick hitter sessions, learning modules and posters that address approaches, practices, techniques, research and case studies on all aspects of water loss control by Mar. 14, 2019.

Water utility professionals are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract. Government employees, organizations, consultants, product and service providers, public and private institutions, scientists, policymakers and students working in an industry dealing with water accountability and loss control efforts or water utilities may also submit an abstract.
