When the transaction is complete, an email receipt will be sent to you giving details about where to login on the website so you may begin your course(s) immediately. You will need to read and agree to the User Agreement terms before you will be allowed to begin any course.

These courses may include presentations, pre-recorded audio, supporting articles, online learning activities, videos, quizzes and evaluations. View AWWA's full list of courses here

Do I have to take the Level 1 before I can take Level 2 or 3?
Yes. All courses within the water treatment programs (WTO) are sequential and build upon the previous course. This series of courses educates attendees on the basic concepts related to water treatment plant operators. The courses focus on the critical information operators need to protect public health, including job functions and responsibilities, regulations, and conventional and advanced water treatment processes and procedures. Taking these courses provides you with the information you need to pass the appropriate certification exam, gain employment, and/or advance your career within the water industry. This series takes into consideration the Association Board of Certification Need-to-Know Criteria for water treatment operators. The courses are designed to be taken in sequential order.
