States and local governments are receiving unprecedented stimulus funds to help coronavirus relief and economic recovery efforts. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJ) will provide more than $550 billion in new federal funding, which includes funds for lead line replacement, chemical clean-up (PFAS), and other important infrastructure needs across America. This, along with the American Rescue Plan (ARPA), provide a pathway for utilities to secure financial support for critical capital needs.
