AWWA will present a webinar (free to members) this Thursday, November 21, entitled “Proposed Lead and Copper Rule Revisions - What could it mean for water systems?” The webinar is scheduled to run from 1-2 p.m. ET. The webinar will unpack the requirements laid out in the proposed changes to the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) from the perspective of a water system taking steps to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposal. The proposed changes to the LCR were published in the Federal Register on October 13, which has opened up a public comment period through January 13. The webinar will be recorded for archived viewing. The archive copy will be available for 30 days.
