Barb Martin Runs Her Sixth Boston Marathon - Raises $3,700 for AWWA's Water Equation

Barb Martin, previous Senior Manager of the Partnership and current Director of AWWA's Engineering & Technical Services Division, completed the Boston Marathon in just over four hours in the rain and cold. Although conditions were extremely difficult for a 26.2 mile marathon with driving rain and cold temperatures, Martin completed the run in just over four hours. A highlight of the run for her was when she cruised by her undergraduate Alma Mater on Beacon Street, Boston University, and the first apartment she lived in as an undergraduate.

The entire AWWA family congratulates Barb on completing the Marathon for the sixth time, and thanks all of those who donated for her efforts in support of the Water Equation, at one of the most popular marathons in the world - Boston! Congratulations Barb
