AWWA releases updated manual on reclaimed water distribution

(DENVER) – The American Water Works Association’s newly-updated M24 Planning for the Distribution of Reclaimed Water is now available.

The fourth-edition manual addresses the distribution of reclaimed water using dual water distribution systems, which consist of separate systems that distribute potable and non-potable water. Information includes the planning, design, construction, operation, regulatory framework and management of these systems

The updated manual incorporates the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2012 Guidelines for Water Reuse and 2017 Potable Reuse Compendium and reflects other advancements in the field.
