AWWA seeking executive director

AWWA has published the qualifications and job description for an executive director, and applications are being accepted until the position is filled.

The list of qualifications include commitment to AWWA vision and mission; experience in the water community; ability to work effectively with members, volunteers and the Board of Directors; collaborative team style; advocacy skills and credibility; business acumen and talent for change leadership.

Paula MacIlwaine has served as acting executive director since April and expects the transition team, under the leadership of AWWA President Craig Woolard, to make a decision by early next year.
