Welcome international attendees! We encourage you to visit the International Resource Center and take advantage of the many resources available to you, including an international attendee lounge, and the list of ACE attendees sorted by country. Staff and volunteers will also be available to answer your questions about the professional program, technical tours, local areas of interest, and all the activities at the conference.
The Water Equation Campaign Silent Auction Supporting the One AWWA Operator Scholarship
ACE attendees will have the opportunity to bid on interesting items while supporting the AWWA Scholarship Program. Our annual silent auction will be held inside the ACE Exhibit Hall featuring items provided by AWWA members, Sections and conference exhibitors. Compete with fellow attendees for unique and valued objects while supporting the new One AWWA Operator Scholarship. All funds generated by the silent auction will go toward AWWA scholarship programs. Bidding is open until noon on Wednesday, and item pickup will immediately follow.

World Water Cup

The World Water Cup is an international drilling and tapping competition among champion men's teams from North America, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Organizations host national competitions at their conventions: AWWA in North America, the Institute of Water in the UK, and Waternetwerk in the Netherlands. National champions are then invited to compete for the World Water Cup champion title.

Pipe Tapping is a high-energy contest where top utility teams from Section-level contests race to tap a cement-lined, ductile iron pipe. Teams of water operators from across North America compete by drilling into ductile iron pipe and installing taps in the shortest period of time.

The challenging Top Ops contest tests the everyday know-how of water treatment operators in a "college bowl" format. Operators and lab technicians display their knowledge and ability to think under pressure as they answer scientific questions and solve math problems.
