Participants who have successfully completed the Phase III Self-Assessment are awarded the Phase III Directors Award. This achievement is no small task and demonstrates the utility's commitment to water quality and consumer safety.

Five-Year Directors Awardees

Treatment plants that have maintained the Phase III Directors Award for five years, have demonstrated improved performance, and have made progress toward optimized plant operation are eligible for the. 

Ten-Year Directors Awardees - New in 2007

This award is achieved by utilities that maintain the Directors Award for ten years. 2007 was the first time any utility has achieved this honor.

Phase IV Excellence in Water Treatment Awardees

The Phase IV Excellence in Water Treatment Award is the highest possible level of performance that can be achieved in the Partnership program, and signifies optimized plant performance. Only 6 treatment plants in the country have successfully completed this phase of the program.

The Five-Year Excellence in Water Treatment Award is presented to Phase IV award-winning plants that have maintained fully optimized plant performance for five consecutive years. Only 1 treatment plant in the country has reached this level of achievement.
