The USEPA is currently in the middle of a multi-year study of endocrine disruptors, which is scheduled for conclusion in 2012. There are three long-term goals of this study:

• To provide a better understanding of the science underlying the effects, exposure, assessment and management of endocrine disruptors,
• To gauge the extent of impact of endocrine disruptors on humans, wildlife and the environment, and
• To support the EPA's screening and testing program.
