This research demonstrated the use of manganese dioxide–coated media as a postfiltration adsorptive contractor to provide cost-effective, efficient soluble manganese (Mn) removal across a range of hydraulic loading rate, solution pH values, influent Mn levels, and hypochlorous acid concentrations.
