Job:  Engineer (Engineering Rotational Training Program)
Employer:  Siemens Water Technologies
Years in Water: 7 months (0.6 years)
Why I Work in Water:  I developed a strong interest for the industry while being involved with an industrial reverse osmosis water treatment system project during a summer internship.  At the time, I was working on my B.S. degree in chemical engineering and a minor in environmental engineering and found that this background was well suited for a career in water/wastewater treatment.  During my senior year at Penn State, I found an opportunity to do an engineering rotational training program with Siemens Water Technologies and knew this was just the sort of thing I was looking for to get exposure to different areas/roles within this field.  Currently, I am mostly involved with municipal wastewater treatment engineering design.

Why I Work in Water: I started in the water industry by accident when my father introduced me to water treatment plants during my summer of my senior year in high school.
