The complete campaign is available for AWWA member utilities only, who can adapt them in a wide variety of ways to meet local needs. NEW! Only Tap Water Delivers Bill Stuffers! There are four different bill stuffers available. Member utilities can contact Public Affairs to receive free downloadable versions of the stuffers. They are also available for sale directly from the AWWA Bookstore.
Consumer Handouts Consumer HandoutsFive consumer handouts are available. The first handout outlines the four pillars of the value of water service. The subsequent handouts explore each pillar, with an additional handout focusing on water infrastructure stewardship. They may be used at public events, or the information may be extracted for newsletters, consumer confidence reports or Web content. Print AdsThree advertisements are provided in English and Spanish versions in a standard quarter-page ad format. The ads may be edited to include your utility's logo and web address.
Radio Public Service AnnouncementsThree audio files are available that can be used as radio public service announcements or paid ads. They are also available in English and Spanish. Children's ActivitiesSix activity sheets, along with answer guides are available for download. These are particularly popular during Drinking Water Week.
Speech TemplateThe speech template is designed to help utility personnel and/or public officials speak to groups about what only tap water delivers. You are encouraged to include local examples where appropriate and adapt the speech for your local needs. PowerPoint PresentationsTwo PowerPoint presentations with speaker notes are included. The first is designed for general audiences and discusses the value of tap water service and the need for infrastructure investment. The second will help you explain the campaign to organizations or groups with a stake in smart water management. Editorial Board Briefing GuidelinesYou may wish to ask your local newspaper(s) to write editorials encouraging their readers to value tap water service or supporting responsible rate increases. The package includes an editorial board briefing guide and matrix to help you approach editors or editorial boards. Talking PointsTalking points that support the campaign's primary and secondary messages and provide supporting details for each message are available. They can help you and your local officials to speak to media and consumers with one voice. Logo ArtOnly Tap Water Delivers logos are available for placement in Web and print materials.
