eLearning Education Delivery Methods

Self-Paced

Self-paced learning is delivered exclusively online; it allows students to move through the course content at their own pace, taking into consideration the individuals knowledge level and capacity. These courses comprise presentations that can be accompanied by audio, supporting articles, online interactions, videos, knowledge tests, and evaluations.

Facilitated

Facilitated learning is delivered primarily online, with some pacing, interaction, and direction provided by an instructor via live meetings, discussion boards, homework, presentations and online interactions.

Blended Learning

Blended learning is delivered primarily in a classroom environment, with some online interaction. The online interaction takes place pre- and post- the classroom event. This learning is supported with assignments prior to the event, discussion boards, and live meetings.

How can operators benefit?

Operators can benefit when studying for certification exams, looking to expand their professional options by continued learning, and when new to the drinking water field, seeking to expand their knowledge. Operators may also benefit when looking to fulfill CEU requirements to maintain current certification, seeking a refresher course, and when seeking to advance their career or certification level. eLearninig also provides operators with travel-free and self-paced education opportunities. Please contact Fabiola Roll, eLearning Manager, at 303.347.6288 or froll@awwa.org for more information on license sales.
