Certificate ProgramsHigh-Tech Operators Certificate Program for High-Tech Operators
Here is how it works.....Any organization wishing to sponsor or host this program purchases the curriculum only (curriculum comes on a CD) from AWWA. The training is then delivered on-site at a location of the sponsoring organization's choice, to your invited attendees (you can charge a registration fee if you'd like), by an instructor of your choosing familiar with the subject, or by an AWWA recommended instructor. This certificate program is continuing education unit (CEU) worthy. The sponsoring or host organization must apply to the state licensing agency where the training is being held for approval. Certificates of Course Completion are available for each course; and a High-Tech Operator Certificate Program Certificate of Completion is available once all three courses have been completed. Customer Service Certificate ProgramThis certificate program will provide your customer service representatives (CSRs) and other utility staff the opportunity to meet the high standards expected by your customers. This training program is based on an AWWA publication called Focus First on Service: The Voice and Face of Your Utility (2007). Participants must complete the full training program to receive a certificate of completion. The curriculum, compromising three courses, totals approximately 27 hours of contact time. Only approved trainers will be allowed to teach the AWWA Customer Service Certificate Program. To become an approved trainer, a person must attend and complete AWWA Train-the-Trainer coursework. Utilities are able to purchase the AWWA Customer Service Certificate program in its entirety or by course. Course 1 is available now. Courses 2 & 3 will be ready the first quarter of 2010.
